‘It’s about to be a real war’: Russian soldiers ‘exploited’ Ukrainian civilians
The story of the Ukrainian soldiers who allegedly massacred unarmed civilians in the city of Mariupol last week has not gone unnoticed.
But this is not the first time that Russian soldiers have targeted Ukrainian civilians.
In November 2014, Ukrainian forces killed 11 people in the Donbas region of Donetsk, in the middle of a bloody civil war.
This week, the Ukrainian military is reported to have killed at least one more person in Mariupols suburb of Torez.
The attack took place on Thursday.
The Ukrainian military said the attack took its toll of 23 people.
This was not the only attack by Russian troops in the Ukrainian capital, Donetsk, last week.
On Tuesday, Ukrainian troops shot dead three people in a busy intersection in Donetsk, after the Ukrainian police claimed to have shot at them.
The Russian military said that on Tuesday night, Ukrainian soldiers opened fire on the Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk suburb of Bakhchysaray, killing at least four people and wounding six.
